Colon Cleansing Reviews

There are hundreds of different colon cleansing products on the market. Some are pretty good at detoxifying the colon, while most of the others are nothing more than cheap knockoff's. Something that most people don't realize about colon cleansing, is that most of the products use similar herbs in their formula, and not all of these herbs are neccessarily good for you.

Instead of herbs, Oxypowder utilizes the power of oxygen to help relieve any constipation issues you may be experiencing.

OxyPowder is rated number one for many reasons. There are no questionable ingredients. Oxygen colon cleanse's are known to be quicker and more effective then herbal cleanser's. #2 - Blessed Herbs

Blessed Herbs is rated #2, because they have a very effective herbal colon cleansing formula. This is a 9 day colon cleanse, that consists of drinking a special blend of clay's and herbs to help promote better digestive health. The only downside of this cleanse, is that it is required that you fast from solid foods.

Bentonite Clay is the active ingredient in Blessed Herbs. This is one ingredient that is somewhat "debatable" for colon cleansing. Mainly because the goal of detoxifying the colon, is to flush toxins and other "heavy metals" out of your body. Well, Bentonite Clay is basically a derivitive of aluminum, that will absorb water and expand to bigger proportions. This is very similar to psyllium, another different bulking agent that is commonly used in colon cleansing products.

#3 - Colonix

Colonix is rated #3 because it is a very popular colon cleansing product. It is because of this popularity that many people assume it to be the best colon cleanser. The Colonix program is a 30-90 day program that consists of drinking a psyllium-fiber shake in the morning and laxative teas at night.

Colonix has a very effective cleansing formula. However, there are a few ingredients in colonix that should never be used without doctor supervision. Senna is one ingredient that is in the laxative tea. Senna should never be used for longer than 7 consecutive days. Also if you suffer from a current digesitive or heart disorder, you should NOT use senna without consulting your doctor!
